Rush
Alert mobile application (“the App”) utilizes location data. By using
the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Service refers to the Application.

Service Provider means any
natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It
refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to

services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the
Service is used.

data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or
from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page

Status Feature The App uses location data when an alert has been sent to update
the user’s status, providing real-time information about their geographical
position .

Panic Button Feature Location data is accessed when an alert has been sent through the
panic button, ensuring accurate tracking during emergencies.

Background Location Usage The App utilizes background watch scans to enhance your safety.
This feature ensures that once the panic button is pressed, the App picks it up
and sends an alert even if your phone screen is off. This additional measure is
in place to provide swift assistance and enhance your safety during
emergencies.

User Control Users have the option to disable location services at any time
through their device settings. However, please note that disabling location
services may impact the functionality of certain safety features within the
App.

 

We use this information to provide
features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. The information
may be uploaded to the Company’s servers and/or a Service Provider’s server or
it may be simply stored on Your device.

You can enable or disable access
to this information at any time, through Your Device settings.

Location Information:

Our distress alert app utilizes both coarse and fine location services on your Android device to provide timely assistance in emergency situations. When you use our app, you have the option to enable location tracking, allowing us to access your precise geographical coordinates. This information is essential for accurately pinpointing your location and dispatching assistance to you in times of distress.

How We Use Your Location Information:

Emergency Response: If you trigger a distress alert through our app, your precise location data will be transmitted to your designated emergency contacts and the relevant organization you are associated with. This ensures that help can reach you swiftly and efficiently.

Improving Service: We may also use anonymized location data for analytical purposes to enhance the functionality and effectiveness of our app. This data helps us understand usage patterns and optimize our service to better serve our users.

Sharing Your Location Information:

Your location information is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is only shared with your explicitly designated emergency contacts and the associated organization during distress situations. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your location data to third parties for marketing or other non-emergency purposes.
